SSPC was founded in 1950 as the Steel Structures Painting
Council, a non-profit professional society concerned with the use of coatings to protect

American Foundrymen's Society was founded in 1896 and
has grown to an international organization of approximately 13,000 members in forty seven
countries. Fifty-three local chapters and twenty eight student chapters in the United
